Happy Birthday Grandpa !

Tomorrow my Grandpa Curt in Alaska is having a birthday. I'm so excited about it that I put on a shirt that Grandpa bought for my dad over 30 years ago! I'm sure glad my Grandparents saved it. So, have a great birthday, Grandpa. And I'm almost crawling!

Kickin' it with Mom

Just a cute photo showing the happy little guy and his mother. He's beginning to wave to people in stores (not sure that he understands why....) and is still working very hard to crawl. Not there yet, but he's moving around the carpet pretty well.

My big cousins !

Lauren and Mister ToeHead visited (along with their parents) from Portland. We had a brief visit, some icecream, a ride on a whale, and a bit of fun in the sand. Pretty much packing as much as possible into our brief hour together. There's going to be a lot of blonde hair in the future for this bunch !

Swwwwwwwwiiiiiiiiiiiiiingggggggggg

On Sunday afternoon we went down to Cannon Beach to meet up with the Portland Joneses. As the other half of the family was a bit late, as is the Olson custom, Beck had a bit of extra time to swing. This was one of the rare moments that he wasn't completely slumped over in the chair, pudding like. He even has on a shirt from one of Jennifer's Montana friends.

Clap, clap, clap

So, after being gone one morning, I came home to a clapping and waving boy. It takes a bit of effort on the parents part to get him going, but once he's primed, he's a clapping machine. He's even been waving to people in public, which earns him a great reaction. His mullet is growing in very nicely as well, we both feel.

Visit to Seattle

We've been pretty poor about getting posts up, but I'm feeling that today is my day / post away. A few weeks ago, we visited our friends in Seattle. Beck and their girls had a great time together. We went for a short bike ride, visited a park, ate ice cream, etc. A great weekend, and Beck managed the long car ride quite well.
